Last summer Grimis set out across the country on a national tour with a beat up Chevrolet, all their instruments, a stuffed monkey, and a cameraman. What resulted is, as they say, history.

The DVD screening/release date was set for December 23rd, but the design and the DVD editing were far from complete. This was Grimis' first time on the big screen and one of the first times where I had to contemplate photography over illustration. Grimis wanted my hand for the artwork, they didn't stress the design this time, they simply wanted me to do whatever i wanted, and I love them for their trust in me and constant encouragement.

The dog on the inside cover is something hard to explain, although it's easy based on the idea that there are several dog references in their songs, but I guess i just see the dog as being the spirit animal of Grimis. It is something represented inbetween sounds and personalities of the band. It is the dream. This DVD represents a milestone for the band, so the illustrations of the back cover are like little mile markers from the past, each little icon has its meaning. The type on the album is all done in DIN.
